Independent advice, handled in confidence.
Owners share sensitive information about their firm, their clients and their people. Hexarch’s advice is only worth having if it is independent and the information is kept safe. These are the commitments Hexarch works to.
Independence
Hexarch is paid by its clients and by no one else. It does not take referral fees or commissions from software vendors, suppliers or specialist providers for recommending them.
Where specialist work such as a website or a system is delivered by an independent partner, Hexarch will say so, will tell you about any financial or personal connection with that partner, and will tell you if you could reasonably choose another provider.
Conflicts of interest
Hexarch works with firms in the same sector, and sometimes in the same town. If working with you would conflict with work for another client, or with another interest of Philip’s, he will tell you before work starts, and either manage the conflict openly or decline the work.
Confidentiality
Information you share is used only for your engagement. Hexarch will sign a confidentiality undertaking before you share sensitive material, if you ask, and will not name you as a client or describe your work without your written permission.
Personal data is handled as described in the privacy notice. Hexarch will not enter your confidential or client information into public AI tools unless you have agreed to it.
The limits of the advice
Philip is a business consultant. He is not a qualified accountant or solicitor, and Hexarch does not provide accounting, audit, tax, legal or regulated financial advice, or financial statements and forecasts for lenders or investors. Where an issue needs that kind of advice, Hexarch will say so and work alongside your own adviser.
Firms in regulated professions remain responsible for compliance with their professional body’s and regulator’s rules, including on advertising, fees, client money, confidentiality and the use of technology.
